About the Author

Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer is the author the novels Perfecting and The Nettle Spinner and the short story collection Way Up. Her recent fiction has been published in Granta Magazine, The Walrus and Storyville. Kuitenbrouwer is the recipient of the 2012 Sidney Prize. She teaches creative writing at the University of Toronto School for Continuing Studies and is Associate Faculty for the University of Guelph’s MFA in Creative Writing.
